Who is NCOPE?

The National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE) promotes education in the field of orthotics and prosthetics and raises the standards of education in the field. This includes working in cooperation with the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) for the accreditation of orthotist/prosthetist and technician level education within the O&P profession. CAAHEP is a nationally recognized non-profit organization that accredits educational programs in 28 allied health disciplines. (NCOPE Residency and Professional Experience)
